Review by Dafydd White
"A picturesque garden was the setting for a lovely production of ‘That Face,’ written by Polly Stenham and directed by Nay Murphy and Sophie Gunneberg. Even though this production was set in a garden, the intimate and beautiful atmosphere transported us to the home of Martha and her turbulent and complex relationship with her children. Nay delivered a sensitive and well constructed performance of a troubled women, transfixed on one of her children, brought on by the completion of her marriage. Nay and Theo Marceau did an exquisite job of capturing this sometimes awkward relationship and their performances were well placed and directed. The whole ensemble had worked hard to tell this story and it truly paid off. An exciting and thought provoking production. I’m excited to see what these talented students explore next."
